This is a nice looking and excellent functioning trumpet that has been reconditioned to ensure total reliability throughout its daily use for years to come. The A after the serial number indicates this trumpet was made in America. As with most pre-owned instruments, it does contain an assortment of dings, scratches and finish loss consistent with student use. Multiple dents on the main tuning slide have been removed restoring the slide back to its general shape. A hazy finish and small imperfections still remain. This trumpet has been ultrasonically cleaned, flushed, and all worn valve guides, stem felts, top cap felts, valve springs and water key corks have been replaced. All tuning slides have been freshly greased, and all three valves are oiled and responsive. All braces are tight and secure. This yamaha YTR 232 trumpet is a solid, dependable instrument perfect for students, hobbyists, or anyone looking for a quality horn at a good value. It comes in a nice Riatiti replacement hard case, and with the standard Yamaha 11 mouthpiece.
