This is a fine-playing example of a Buffet Super Dynaction tenor saxophone #17XXX manufactured in Paris, France in 1971, in it’s original laquer finish. Pads are around midlife or newer, flexible, with necessary replacements and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. Normal wear and scratching on it’s original laquer finish with scattered bumps and small dents. The speckled look of the laquer in the photos was normal for these saxes; it happens in most of them over time, but the finish is quite intact. This sax blows very freely with lots of power and edge and it is a great Mark VI substitute.
