This is a desirable example of a vintage Conn transitional 6m-style alto saxophone manufactured in the 1932, #M254XXX. Rare neck without a microtuner, which allows a freedom of response preferred by some players. His sax is in well-worn used condition with plenty of wear and scratching from many years of playing, but everything works great, and it is set up to good playing adjustment. Repairs and resolders as seen in photos 4, 6 and 7, no effect on the excellent sound. This sax has smooth response with a warm, vintage edge.
