This is a great-playing example of a top vintage Buescher 400 tenor saxophone, #333XXX, made in 1949 at Elkhart Indiana USA at the peak of American saxophone manufacturing excellence. His sax has normal wear and scratching on it’s vintage laquer finish, signs of a few repaired dents, 3 or 4 post resolders and everything works great. It is set up to good playing adjustment on correct Buescher Snap-In pads that are around midlife. This sax blows very easily with a full, warm sound and it can get lots of edge.
