SELMER MARK VI Alto Saxophone Plays (fantastically very minimal key noise). Changed all necessary pads and springs and then checked for all leaks by a very fine technician in NJ. It plays wonderfully with the famous Mark VI warm sound. It has very minimal key noise… It is a 1962 made and the serial # is 102, xxx (one of the golden years of Mark VI). YES it plays right out of the case! It comes with the original case – normal wear with a fragile sticker on the back side. I have had numerous inquiries about this following question: Has this sax ever been relacquered? Answer: YES, this sax has been relacquered a while back but not during the time that I owned this sax.
