Early 1960’s Silvertone Blessing Artist stencil / Bb Trumpet. Made for Sears Roebuck stores by EK Blessing under contract in the 60’s these Silvertone trumpets were solid, well-built horns. They appear identical to the Blessing Artist trumpets from that period. The Blessing line in that period went from Super Artist, to Artist, to Standard, and then Scholastic model. So the Artist would have been a step-up or perhaps entry level pro horn. The valves are excellent. The short stroke Blessing valves were so nice to play on.
