Yamaha YTR-935 Custom Rotary B-Flat Trumpet. ¦YAMAHA’s first rotary trumpet. Manufactured from 1980 to 1992. It is a so-called Heckel type, and its characteristic S-shaped ornament (Heckelschnecke) creates an elegant atmosphere. It is said that this model was jointly developed with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. It is characterized by the bright and soft tone typical of the Haeckel type, and blends well with orchestras. Rotary trumpets with this kind of tone are probably rare these days. It is a very rare model nowadays. The design of Yamaha Custom at that time was elegant and beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail. This particular model was newly installed at a music store with a new tuning slide (probably for YTR-936S, but we are not sure) and a clappen (High B). This is a very rare instrument that has been remodeled by a trusted music shop in Osaka over 5 years ago to add a clappen (High Bb key, octave key) and a trigger on the 3rd extraction pipe. Case: Double case (with strap and keys). Accessories:Original tuning slide. No noticeable plating peeling or dents. I think it is in very good condition for an instrument of this age. Overall, it is very clean for its age. I did not find any major noticeable scratches or dents on the instrument, but since it has been in storage for a long time, please assume that there are minor scratches, stains, spots, and small dents that were overlooked. Please consider that there is discoloration unique to silver plating. International Buyers – Please Note. Thank you for your understanding.
