Blessing Trumpet Elkhart 1966 – Reconditioned – Case & Blessing 13 MP Bore. 466 – Serial# 138. K Blessing USA built horn has 99% lacquer, instrument shows excellent with light signs of use. I believe this is a step up model or Artist model and not the Standard model, bell only reads E. All slides are smooth and valve compression is excellent. Original case is in good condition, horn comes with a Blessing 13 mouthpiece. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
