This is a great example of a vintage Buescher Aristocrat tenor saxophone, #300317, made in 1942 at the peak period of great saxophones. This sax has normal wear and some wear on it’s original laquer finish. The engraving is great and has a beutiful full dark tone. Has the original snap on caps and a new cork on the neck. Plays great top to bottom but needs tunning , minor leak check and a set up to your taste. Has the original golden norton springs but one which is shown in the pictures on the right of the serial number. The post of the C key on the bowl appears to have been re-soldered, but the work was done right and left only a discoloration in the lacquer. Sax is in a very nice condition to its age. Players may want to have the sax personally set up to their taste by their own technician, so buyers will need to figure that expense into the price.
