If you’re looking for a well built, affordable student trumpet that plays very well and has proven to withstand the test of time, THIS IS IT. It has flaws, but is priced accordingly. There are a few very minor dings, scratches and imperfections, but all tubing is straight and the lacquer is about 85% tact. NO DEEP DENTS OR BENDS. Valves and slides move smooth and freely – the 3rd valve slide is light and easy – lubed with Ultra Pure Black Label Classic valve oil and Conn-Selmer & Leblanc Slid-Eze slide greases. Good compression for it’s age, but the valves do show wear. Valve caps and bottoms screw on/off smoothly. Valves aligned with new valve cap felts and water key corks installed. Includes Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece and original case. The case is clean, solid, and the latches work. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have before purchasing.
