This King 2106-6B Duo Gravis Bass Trombone has the dual dependent valve section. The lacquer finish is decent but does have some rough spots here and there. Has the 9.5 Yellow Brass Bell. Standard Bass Trombone Bore Size. Is in good condtion and plays fantastic. Hand slide is totally straight and smooth. Has finger ring for smaller size hands. Freshly chem cleaned and serviced, adjusted for maximum playability. No service needs to improve playability. Would make an excellent first bass trombone for an advancing student or ideal for a tenor doubler in need of a solid bass. Would work great in a pro commerical situation or in a big band. It would also be a great pit orchestra bass double. The original King case and a Bach 3G mouthpiece will be included. Model: T350 285 bell, open wrap Thayer valve. 547 bore, gold brass tuning slide, TBCN-17 Slide. The slides were recently gone over by the pros and all move freely with no major hangups. Compression is good with no leaks. The valve moves smoothly with fast action that is quiet, and responsive. The finish is overall quite nice. Previous owner went for the raw brass look, it can be polished to a high luster shine if wanted. See pictures for more details. Comes with a nice, sturdy case. Case does not have a musty smell and seems to have been well taken care of. All latches and one of the zippers works. Martin Galaxy model Flugelhorn, appears to be all original except 1 bottom valve cap does not match. Threads correctly, just cosmetically different. We are unsure of the horns exact age as the serial number does not fit into any of the data bases we have found online, 836XXX. Horn has just been serviced with all slides smooth and free. Pistons are in good condition and are quick and have good compression. Body is very clean with no major dents or signs of repair. Lacquer is good and around 80-90%, Lacquer wear at the contact points. Water keys seal as they should. Case is solid with cosmetic wear. No mouthpiece is included.
