This is a great example of a rare late vintage Buescher True Tone tenor saxophone #262XXX with a nearly new complete set of snap-in pads. It was manufactured in 1932 in Elkhart, Indiana USA, at a peak period of quality as Buescher was transitioning to the New Aristocrat model and incorporating improvements into these late True Tones. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment, h. Speckling, scratches in it’s vintage relaquer finish, considering the age of this sax. This sax has a beautiful lush, warm vintage sound and strong presence. Comes in it’s original case and this. Pads are midlife or a bit older, mostly tan, and flexible, and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. Minimal wear and scratching on it’s shiny, clean vintage laquer finish. This sax blows very evenly with a solid and strong characteristic Selmer core throughout the entire range. This is a TERRIFIC Edwards dual-Thayer valve bass trombone. Edwards has become one of the standards of the trombone world. Their magnificent response and tone quality, as well as the variety of customization options, have won trombone players over everywhere. This one is in excellent condition. It features the 1215CF bell (yellow brass, 22 gauge, tempered) and the standard. 562 slide, two independent Thayers in F and G, and has an additional tuning slide that puts the second valve into standalone D and a pedal Bb in first position with both triggers engaged. Plays great – slide is excellent and the rotors are very good as well. Bell has a couple of very minor dings and scars (see photos) but overall is in excellent condition. Here’s a VERY NICE Mount Vernon Bach Model 34 trombone. This is a great medium-large bore trombone in excellent condition. This model, no longer made, features a. 522 bore and an 8 inch bell, and in my opinion plays with a lot more pop than the current model 36. The body is excellent. Lacquer appears to have been deliberately removed to enhance resonance. Slide (see photo) is excellent – light and fast and showing very little wear at the stocking.
