Vincent Bach stradivarius large bore trumpet. This has been well used and is not pristine, but is in first rate mechanical order and plays superbly. Lacquer is not bad – about 75%intact, I would say. There is wear around the valve block in the usual places where it is held, and minor faults in the lacquer along the bell and mouthpipe. Also, before this beast came to live with me it had sustained damage to the bell and there is visible evidence of repairs to this area (see photos). There are also marks under the lacquer around the bell rim. If they bother you they could be polished out at the expense of a little more lost lacquer. Other than that this trumpet is great. It looks good, if you don’t look too closely and it has been cleaned, lubricated, treated to new valve felts and water key cork and is ready to play. It comes with an almost new and very good condition torpedo bag, which are great trumpet prtection whatever you throw at them.
