Professional Adams Bb A4-LT Trumpet Used Brushed Finish

This is a lightly used instrument that has only had one owner. The owner is a professional classical musician and teacher. It has been taken care of very well. There are two very minor blemishes. Both are shown in pictures. There is a hairline ding on the Leadpipe near the valve casing and a hairline ding on the inside of the bell which shows up in the picture as two small dots on the right side. It comes with it’s original case. The case has lots of pockets and has a convertible backpack strap. It also has a portable mouthpiece pouch and an unopened polishing cloth. Does not come with a mouthpiece. The sound is very clear and dark. The trumpet is very responsive in all ranges. It can be used as a Jazz instrument or for darker symphonic works. It has been played multiple times with the Anchorage Symphony and blends well with other traditional professional trumpets. The intonation is what you would expect from any high end professional trumpet. Thank you for your interest. I’ve owned this ML bore Bach trumpet since 1968. It was selected for me by Armando Ghitalla, then principle trumpet player for the Boston Symphony. As was the custom in Boston in the 60’s the lacquer was stripped off. It polishes to a rich brass patina. It shows its age but still has a beautiful, full, dark sound. The valves work perfectly. As you can see the case is in less than perfect shape. Choose any 2 mouthpieces: Bach 3D, Bach 7C, Marcinkiewicz, Yamaha 11CA-7C.
