This is a great-playing example of a top vintage King Super 20 Special alto saxophone #338XXX. It is a highly desirable vintage Super 20, manufactured in 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio USA in their absolute peak period of quality, with a reverse socket neck and extra pearl touches and most of the keys. Matching serial number on the neck. It has older pads, still flexible and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. This horn is well-used and it has a number of shallow dents, no effect on it’s excellent sound. It blows very freely with strong alto character and plenty of edge and projection. Olds French Model trumpet. This vintage Olds has been chem-cleaned and received some dent removal and has had new corks/felts and valve springs installed. The valves are pretty worn and work well. The top cap for the second valve was fabricated by Josh Landress. I’ve tried to get pics of flaws… The third valve adjusting slide ring is not original. Lacquer is non-existent in places. Engraving on the bell is sharp and clear.. Slides all move well. So now is your chance. Comes in a new Wolfpak case. Please look closely at the pics and contact me with any questions. Selmer Mark VI Alto Saxophone 114xxx 1964 – EXCELLENT CONDITION. Medium bow and well within the coveted 58,000-150,000 serial number range, built in 1964. I’ve owned this instrument since 1994, and it’s by far the finest I’ve ever had. Only one owner prior to me, never been relaquered, modified, or required any major repairs, is in perfect playing condition and sounds amazing. There is normal wear on the lacquer and some oxidation (as to be expected in a 50-plus-year-old instrument), and what appears to be some sort of repair that was required on the low-C key guard before it came into my possession. Meyer mouthpiece in picture is NOT included , however the case pictured IS included.
