This listing is for a name brand Jupiter C trumpet (JTR-604) with a bonus Bb tuning slide in NEAR MINT CONDITION that perfectly fits in the included new hard-shell case (see photos)! This is a high-quality name brand Jupiter C trumpet that has the unique ability to be converted into a Bb trumpet by using the bonus Bb main tuning slide and extending the positions of the first and third valve tuning slides (about 1/2″ on the 1st tuning slide and about 3/4″ on the 3rd tuning slide). Note: The 2nd valve tuning slide is so short that its adjustment would be insignificant, so any 2nd valve adjustments are typically neglected. This trumpet is like having two trumpets in one (both a C and a Bb trumpet)! While it is a great sounding Bb trumpet, it is first and foremost an amazing C trumpet. Personally, I recommend using this as a C trumpet. It’s just an added bonus that it can be used as a backup Bb trumpet for whenever your primary Bb trumpet is in the shop (being repaired, adjusted, or cleaned). I also recommend using valve oil every time it is played to ensure longevity and optimal performance (to keep it in near mint condition and to keep it functioning perfectly). If it weren’t for a few tiny areas of missing lacquer, which are only noticeable when examined close-up (zoom in on all photos), this trumpet would be in mint condition (like brand new). The valves are fast and function perfectly, with excellent compression. Jupiter brand trumpets have excellent quality and sound amazing, especially with such reasonable prices! I personally tested, cleaned and lubricated this instrument. I hereby certify that it is fully functional and is all ready to play. Please note that the included trumpet case is like new as shown.
