Bach Stradivarius model 43. Was told year is around 1978. Has lots of character. Definitely not perfect condition, lots of wear marks and several small little dings, nothing major. Early vintage Olds Super Trombone with Bear Counterweight & original hardshell case. I have read on the web there are two versions of the bear counterweight. It was made in Los Angeles Calif. It works fine and the serial numbers of both sections match. From the serial number charts on the web it is from 1935. The slide is fluted. Berkeley Silver Bb Monette Style Trumpet W/DH2 Mouthpiece. I got the horn. I’m gonna tell you like this. I used to work for Sam Ash Music in Manhattan, one of the biggest music stores in the country. I have played on all types of horns. I even had I custom made Bach. I have played every kind of Monette currently available. I used to use the Monette B2 mouthpiece (Same kind as Wynton Marsalis). I have even played one of Wynton’s old horns. If all of your horns play as well as the one that I have now, you have a customer for LIFE!!! I hope sincerely that your prices do not change before I have a chance to get another Bb, a C trumpet, a Cornet and a Flugel from you guys! …. And maybe a picc trumpet (though I don’t play much piccolo). The next two on my list are the Copper-belled Cornet and Flugel you have. I will start saving up. 1952 King Silver Sonic trumpet. The valves are very smooth and all slides function normally. I think that it has a. 448 bore but I could be wrong on this. The case has one broken latch. Included is a New York Bach 8c mpc that is in decent condition. This is a great sounding horn in ALL regards!! Nice estate fine, 1920ish. Couple minor dings, no bends, bell is not wrinkled like picture shows, it’s just. Slides very smooth for not being oiled in many many years.
