Reynolds Contempora bass trombone. 1968-1969 Amazing

Here is a wonderful Reynolds’Stereophonic’ Contempora bass trombone in near mint condition. Built in Abilene, Texas, the instrument has serial number 242 dating it to 1968 – 1969. It has a glorious, deep red 10 bell and two dependent valves with extension slide on the second valve giving Bb – F – D. Completely dent-free with no lacquer wear at all. Valves 100% smooth with short fast action. Slide is pretty good not as good as my old Conns though… This fine instrument has a wonderful dark sound with great carrying power and not stuffy at all in the lower register. The instrument is currently in The Netherlands. Exact price depends on destination. Can also deliver personally to a London address, anywhere in The Netherlands / northern Belgium and NW Germany. Please check my feedback. Lots of lacquer finish gone (check pictures). Rotary works good and are in a good condition. It’s looks like some body cut a little bit the receiver (play where you put the mpc). Probably because they want to use a bigger mpc (who knows). Case is ok but not perfect. Ask all you need. 1978 Vincent Bach Stradivarius 42 Professional Trombone withF Trigger Attachment

Vincent Bach Stradivarius Model 42 Professional Trombone with F Trigger Attachment. Serial number dates to approximately 1978. Please look carefully at the photos and read the description. The instrument does play well as-is, but needs attention from a good tech to be at its best. Particularly the slide needs work. Th instrument shows signs of age, wear, and use. This includes scratches and discoloration to the lacquer, minor nicks and small dents, and past solder repairs (see pics – these could be redone and would look better). The water key and lock mechanism are intact. The tuning valves and F trigger all move freely and work properly. The slide works, but needs some attention – it has a couple small knicks and could be smoother. Overall a 6-7-ish/10 cosmetically. The trombone will come in a heavy duty SKB flight case that is in used, but good, functional condition. It will also include two mouthpieces. One is a aVincent Bach, one is a Benge. Both are 6 1/2 AL. The Bach is in excellent shape and looks to be a heavy weight/large shank mouthpiece. The Benge is in ok shape – needs some attention to the shank (which has a thinner wall than the Bach). Bach 42s are excellent quality professional trombones. This could be a great deal for someone willing to put some TLC into it. Make me offer, I’m open!
