Legendary soprano saxophone Yanagisawa S-991. Sound that only Yanagisawa can provide. I bought it new a few years ago from an official Yanagisawa dealer in Helsinki, Finland. I thought that I can learn to play a soprano saxophone. After a few weeks I gave up. It looks like this is not for me. And all that time this beautiful saxophone is locked in the case in my closet. It is like a Porsche with a mileage below 100 miles in the garage. It never been played on the gig, it never been played outdoors. Great condition – just like new from the box. Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction E-flat Alto Saxophone, 1960s

Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction E flat alto sax. I got it in 1963 and it was last played around 1984 by my wife’s youngest sister. It was a great sounding instrument when I was playing it helped me stay in first chair most of the time in school. Now, nearly about 35 years later, a few pads need treatment or replacement as one would expect. One or two springs may be getting a bit weak. The bottom of the bow is subtly flattened, and there may be a minor dent in one edge of the Eb key guard. Mechanically, everything else works fine. It looks OK from a distance of 5-10feet, but up close you can see that it would really benefit from refinishing: the lacquer is no longer smooth in places – common for age, the color is no longer uniform and is a bit dull, there are spots worn through the lacquer primarily on keys that don’t have touches, and there are some streaks of verdigris primarily on the front of the bow and bell. Buffet Crampon a Paris, also marked France, C – very good + condition. Brilhart Ebolin 112986, 3 – good to very good condition. 15 reeds – most never used. Brass lyre music holder marked depose France – very good to excellent. Black leather neck strap – very good. Black Buffet Crampon & Cie hardcase – very good overall with a couple of spots in the lining showing wear at the pressure points and a couple of repaired areas on the underside where the trim stitching had worn away. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional photos. I had a question of whether the large pads had resonators. All of the large pads have a silver colored, flat metal disc (probably stainless steel or nickel plated) that is attached by a central, slotted screw. Vintage Martin Committee III The Martin Alto Saxophone for sale! This is a very nice example of a Martin Committee III Alto Sax and the bell engraving is just spectacular! Sax includes original Martin mouthpiece and original M Martin endplug. The body of the sax is in very good condition overall. There are some signs of scratching/lacquer wear throughout the body and neck, but overall the sax is in very nice condition considering its age. Pads are a newer set and appear to be in great shape. This sax has been in storage, thus I would recommend a full adjustment and regulation by a professional sax technician prior to active playing. It does appear the fastening screw on the neck is not original, but it functions just fine. I have provided many photos! If you have any questions, please let me know. For sale here is a Beautiful example of genuine American built C. Conn Classic Tenor Saxophone in Heavy Gold Plate. The sax has been recently serviced including a full re-pad with Selmer-style plastic resonators. They help bring out the Warm and Fuzzy on this beauty! It has the serial number 139979 with a production date around 1925. The sax has a very nice Gold Plated over Silver finish that was not polished during the last servicing. If someone has the time and the energy, they could certainly make this horn sparkle!! Included in the sale is an old and raggedy alligator skin case, a neck strap, and the Brilhart Tonalin 8 mouthpiece pictured. The mouthpiece is in very lightly used condition. There is a little wear on the bite plate but the facing looks original and the tip, table, and rails are all blemish-free. The tip opening measures 0.094. Obviously the case needs a handle or two and the hinges could probably stand for a replacement but both latches function as intended. I kinda like that the latches don’t crack you in the thumb when they snap open. They have little swing restrictors or something… The horn has a flat spot on the bottom but not big enough for me to worry about. It is also missing one of the tiny little octave key guides that is soldered right at the top of the body where the neck tenon is. Not sure what happened to that little guy… This is an awesome Tenor for anyone. Altos, C Tenors and Bb Tenors. I don’t need them all and I have a little B Buescher alto that screams, a Buescher C Tenor that smokes and a Pan American Tenor that is on Fire!!!
