Vintage Selmer Paris 25 Large bore Balanced Action Trumpet Harry James

A 1957 French Selmer closet Queen. This is quite the trumpet. A Selmer Paris Balance Action Trumpet in Large bore. The mouth pipe reciever is stamped 25. 4705 at the main tuning slide. Harry James played this model his being stamped 25. 472 so this is just a smidge under that. This horn really rips. It is very easy to play at all volumes and all ranges. The valves are Super tight , the best i have ever seen on a vintage horn. And think, this is a 1957 trumpet. The engraving is Perfect you can feel all the sharp edges of it. There is some wear under the third valve slide and on the finger hook and a few flea bites. Take a look at the pictures. Comes with the original case but it is trashed. It has done its work for it protected the horn wonderfully. I have done my best to describe this fine trumpet. Martin Committee III Tenor Saxophone 200XXX, 1956, Original Laquer, Plays Great

This is a great example of a Martin Committee III tenor saxophone #200XXX with it’s original laquer finish. It was manufactured in 1956 in Elkhart, Indiana USA, at a peak period of quality. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment on older pads, h. Speckling, scratches in it’s original vintage finish, considering the age of this sax and the ornate engraving is sharp and clear. About 6 post resolders, and the tenon on the neck is resoldered as seen best in photos 6 and 7, no effect on the great sound. This sax has a warm vintage sound and strong edge and presence. Vintage 1953 KING Super-20 Tenor Sax with Matching Sterling Silver Neck and Case

Re-pad and overhaul done. Anyone looking for a killer vintage American sax? This King Super-20 tenor sax is an excellent 1953 model (#333919), which is the most desirable years of the Super 20. This “Texas Tenor” has a HUGE sound and plays great – a real players horn. This horn is the first series of the Super-20 made in Cleveland, OH, by the HN White and Company. Includes Original sterling silver neck with matching serial number and full pearls and engraving. The horn does have lacquer wear from heavy use, however, it has been completely overhauled with new pads and corks and is in perfect playing condition. Include nice used aftermarket case, and used mouthpiece. This horn was recently acquired so I have no prior history other than its from Dallas, Texas.
