This is a great Meinl Weston model 25 4 rotor valve tuba in ready to play condition. The Tuba has all its parts. There are some minor dents, dings and wear throughout. All valves and slides move freely and correctly. This instrument has been ultrasonically cleaned and play tested by a professional repair technician. There is a case but no mouthpiece. The original silverplating is 99% intact. The flugel has a couple of small dents that dont seem to affect the sound of the horn or its playability one bit and could easily be removed. The sound of this instrument is absolutely incredible as would be expected of the best flugel ever built! Intonation is spot on! You want the best? Here’s your chance!! 800 and a sounds that is second to NONE. In truth, I will more than likely covet this sound for the rest of my days; that said it truthfully belongs in the hands of a true virtuoso. The valves are a wee bit slow and need some work, but It is a pure joy to play. There are some dings remaining, but no major dents. The 4th slide also has a small split in the tubing, but does not impact playing as long as you leave the slide in. This horn was owned and played by Roger during his time at Eastman. 1972 Professional BACH Stradivarius Custom Trumpet -For the discriminating player or collector…. Lots of strads on the market here. Look them over but for value quality of build and custom factory built options.. This horn has not been played much by me and as a collector player it has been babied. The gold plating is perfect from the factory and the 1st and 3rd valve sliders are a unique feature that no other Strad has that I’ve seen!!! I’ve had this beauty for a while and she will do what is asked of her with the classic 43 bell and leadpipe. No constricted stuffy backpressure. The valves and slides work perfectly.. Here’s a VERY NICE Mount Vernon Bach Model 34 trombone. This is a great medium-large bore trombone in excellent condition. This model, no longer made, features a. 522 bore and an 8 inch bell, and in my opinion plays with a lot more pop than the current model 36. The body is excellent. Lacquer appears to have been deliberately removed to enhance resonance. Slide (see photo) is excellent – light and fast and showing very little wear at the stocking.
