This tenor saxophone has scratches throughout from normal use and lacquer wear is noticeable, with approximately 75-80% of lacquer intact(most likely this has been professionally re-lacquered at some time). There is noticeable engraving detail on the bell/bow and the matching body/neck serial number is in the lower 47, xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to 1951. Included is a well used, structurally sound wood shell tenor saxophone case(latches catch, but springs are broken, missing one case handle and the other case handle needs to be replaced soon) and a granadilla wood body end plug.
