It has good compression evidenced by a solid pop when the slides are pulled. Serial Number – SN 0422216. Finish – Looks good. Silver is in good condition with no wear spots. Upon close inspection there are a number of minor dings, scrapes and scratches as seen in photos. Serviced – Horn has been completely serviced including chemical cleaning, hand-washing, and ultrasonic clearning. Springs, felts and corks have been replaced as needed. Play tested to ensure playability. Case – Includes the original case in good clean condition. It will protect the instrument. Mouthpiece – Includes a 7C mouthpiece in good condition. As found in a pre-war Olds trombone case, this is a tenor shank mouthpiece in very good survivor condition. The gold plating is thin and worn, but the surfaces are all still smooth. 930’s, I think, early production based on a little online research.
