York Pro Model 1941 Trumpet – Reconditioned – Original Case & York Al-Tru 4M MP Bore. 460 – Serial# 126. A stunning rare York with underslung 3rd slide with lock-out in matte silver with gloss trim package and mother of pearl slide tabs. Not pictured in hornucopia’s collection, similar to an earlier model 70 I had years ago. Bell tail required dent work and I soldered the rear bell brace, over all 99% plating and only minor blems and dinks. Horn plays well and everything is smooth. Original case is very nice for it’s age, the original handle is broken. Horn also comes with the original York Al-Tru 4M mouthpiece. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
