HN WHITE SILVER KING SOUSAPHONE 1950’S W/ GOLD WASH 26 BELL GREAT CONDITION! . I have been using this as my main gigging horn for the past 7 years. There are several dents on the body of the instrument but they are cosmetic only in nature and do not have any impact on the sound. Horn has been keep in shape by the fine workers at J. Landress Brass in NYC. This horn is old and shows signs of wear and tear, but it is in perfect playing condition and I have taken extreme care of it since it has been in my ownership. Bore at the valves is. This sousaphone plays great in tune with little adjustment needed by me. Comes with a backpack case, but the zipper is partially broken. The silver finish is fading in many parts. Looks like have been repaired thru the years in two places (where the mouthpiece goes and one of the supports). All the adjusting slides move correctly. The cork in the waterkey may need to be replaced. The horn it has some dents present as you can see on the pictures. The case is in average condition, close correctly and all the locks are in working order, the belt on the inside to hold the horn is broken. For sale by The H. White Company LLC, this magnificent Silver Flair is the last of the great line of H. White trumpets made in Cleveland. Designed and fabricated in Cleveland, the King Silver Flair by H. White was designed for the professional musician. Do not confuse this trumpet with later Silver Fair Trumpets which were mere shadows of The H. The Silver Flair pioneered aluminum finger buttons and valve stems. This trumpet is sexy we have add gold wash inside the flair for a little more bling. This trumpet is in original condition and the body of the trumpet is in great shape. This trumpet has original Brite Silver Lacquer (98% perfect). The engraving is crisp and easy to see. There is one very small wear spot on the first valve see prictures. The trumpet is in great shape and has no deep scratches. There are no dents. All slides operate smoothly. All parts are stamped with the appropriately matched serial numbers. This trumpet has new springs, cork and felt. The first valve trigger slide is easy to remove and clean. The valves are super fast (like new) with no apparent loss of air pressure. The case is in good shape and is ready for another 40 years of service. The case is in good shape for its age. The latches are new and are now in working condition. There is some black tape on the one side of the case where the stitching has come undone. The trumpet has been professionally cleaned and serviced. This trumpet sounds like everything you come to expect from today’s professional trumpets but this one was built like nothing you see today. This trumpet was built when quality and craftsmanship mattered. This Trumpet can sing, it has a brighter tone but still sounds full. The Trumpet is in great condition and is ready to play! White Co King Liberty 2B Trombone Serial # 277248. That Ive had from his estate years ago. Its been packed up and stored away. Its in its original carrying alligator hard case that has some issues with the handle and other areas that comes with age. It also have other items, such as; music books, oil, mouth piece etc. Since Im no expert on Trombone I took it to a Music store to get the condition evaluated. CONDITION: they did not see any dents when playing it, and recommended a chemical clean. There are a couple small dents shown in photos. They said its a really good Trombone for its age.
