This King Liberty trumpet, model number 93679pp, is a collectors item dating back to the years between 1925 to 1930. It is highly sought-after. 2nd valve is not working.
Please Read Entire Listing Carefully! King 2055T Silver Flair Series Trumpet w/ King 3C Mouthpiece and Case. The items have a musty smell. The trumpet is in otherwise good, fully playable condition. The instrument shows light scratching and scuffing, but is in otherwise nice cosmetic condition. Please see images for detail. Includes the pictured items ONLY! I used to repair guitars and someone brought this cornet to me for repair. I do not repair cornets or trumpets so the person traded it in on another instrument I owned. The instrument has good heft and feel of a quality instrument. The horn presents well and is clean. The lacquer is good with only minimal loss and a few scratches. The valves move freely. There are a few small dings (no large ones) and the bell looks good with no dings, only a few scratches with mild lacquer loss. All parts of the horn are in place except the mouthpiece. The horn needs to be lubed and tuned. They removed the blockage but punched a hole in the metal tubing adjacent to the mouth piece (see photos). The case is in good condition… Clean and matching King brand. Keith’s Camera and Music.
PLEASE READ LISTING IN FULL / SEE ALL PHOTOS. Please note this horn has had repairs, has a dent wrinkle in the bell and bell rounded brace has been soldered / repaired in the past, to bell braces may have been resoldered and leadpipe may have had dents / dings removed as I see wear there. Brass appears to be healthy though. Horn could use internal cleaning but is ready to play upon receipt. The great news is that Valves are very good with great compression and all slides are coming out. The bell wrinkle is not really a big job for a repairman but horn can be played as it is now. It’s been play tested and the wrinkle does not appear to affect the tone. It is a very good vintage quality HN White King era Cleveland Ohio Liberty horn and it will last. I personally like horns with age wear. If you do as well than this maybe a great horn for you? ! Lacquer appear to be original as engraving is crisp and easy to read. Appears to be a medium bore horn but plays open with great tone. Very good horn for jazz playing and with the vintage vibe. No case or mouthpiece included. Vintage KING Cleveland Superior 600 Trumpet. The instrument is in overall good used condition with normal wear. There are some scratches and dings. We try to take pictures of any defects that we are aware of. Also, please review all pictures for information like serial number, model number and name. Very rare 1962 Buescher Super 400 Trumpet. It is raw brass plus nickel finish. This is a heavyweight horn with a big bell. And as you might expect, the tone is dark and rich. About as dark and smoky as you can get with a trumpet. This one is in very good condition. Valves and slides are smooth. Valve compression is quite good. It has been recently serviced. There’s some wear on the finish as can be seen in the photos, but an amazing playing horn. There are some dings on it as well, and a slight bend it the bell crook. Does not affect how great this trumpet plays. Comes with a beautiful King case (probably from around 1980). The case is very solid, and the large size valve block fits in this case very nicely.
