Trumpet needs polish, it has some dings nothing major. All the valves spring back as they should has a dab of soldering a crevice, can’t be seen in one of the photos. Case is poor shape.
As found in a pre-war Olds trombone case, this is a tenor shank mouthpiece in very good survivor condition. The gold plating is thin and worn, but the surfaces are all still smooth. 930’s, I think, early production based on a little online research.

It was a kind of bronze trumpet, vertically directed, with a bell in the form of an animal’s head, for example, a boar. It was used during battles, probably to give the signal to attack the warriors and intimidate the enemy.
