Description: Olds Special 1966. This trumpet has 80% original lacquered finish. All original parts including the main tuning slide retaining rod. The pistons have no plating wear and have been aligned with Olds felts. Instrument has been cleaned and pressed, and is ready to play. Valves are EXTREMELY fast and smooth, and are serialized with same # as the valve block. There is a small dent in the main tuning slide and a crease has been removed from the bell flare. Plenty of scratches and wear, as you can see in the pictures. All sales are final unless we have grossly misrepresented an item. RARE YAMAHA SD-435DG DAVID GARIBALDI CUSTOM MODEL PICCOLO SNARE DRUM. Original first issue model. 14 x 3.5 seamless brass shell. Blue nickel over brass. 45 degree bearing edges. Very good condition but please note this is not a new drum. I’ve fitted two new heads for the new owner, & the drum has pure sound snare wires fitted. There are a few marks consistent with use and the age of the drum, but overall this drum is in very good condition. Usually when someone says something is rare in a listing, it seldom actually is, but this really is, so rare in fact that I cant find another one for sale online at the moment. This is the original first issue model, blue nickel over seamless brass shell. Model number: SA435DG & the production number of this drum is 0313, made in Japan. Highly adjustable snare drum with three air vents. These drums came with three rubber bungs originally, the idea being you could block up one, two, or all three of the air vents to change the dryness of the drum, please note there is only one of these rubber bungs present. Photos are of the actual drum and there are no filters applied, it is exactly as you see. This drum has been played since I bought it in the very early 2000s, loads of gigs & recordings so it does show signs of wear here & there but OVERALL this is in really good condition. Rich & colourful sound, it’s a bright, fast drum when cranked up, & works really well in the mid range, giving a nice full-bodied crack with well balanced definition throughout the dynamic range. Vintage 1930’s Ludwig ” Vintage ” Nickel over Brass 15″ diameter x 5″ deep Snare Drum , 8 Lug , Clip Mount , Tube nickel plated lugs , All Original Drum. Not only do I believe , they Are to be along with nickel plating on hoops too , it seems to be shell plated the same as the other plating which looks like nickel to me and which is nickel , it has catgut snares wires also snare throw of is in excellent working condition. The snare Gut Wires are tight and no discrepancies there. The Case is a vintage Leedy Case , unlined with a strap I added to secure the case closed. The original leather strap has deteriorated. Please look at pictures for the fore mentioned. I have thoroughly cleaned and polished every part of this drum , all lugs individually cleaned and polished , all tuning screws cleaned & polished , threads graphite , one extra year correct tube lug included [as extra part]. This is a 2 piece shell , Not only do I believe , it IS seemed at the middle of the shell just like the black beauty, Look at the inside shell picture you will see. No additional holes , it has some minor scratching that is difficult to see from close , although there is 2 small dents as seen in the pictures , one small round dent is below the Ludwig script to the bottom left next to where the tube lug bolts to the shell , the other small round dent is above to where the catgut wires are attached to the drum opposite side of strainer. If you need additional pictures contact me I was told by a fellow drummer that this was a 1927 special order drum , do your research.. After thoroughly polishing this drum and putting it back together , I further tuned it up and played on it a little , WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SOUND , FAT SOUNDING , EVEN WITH THESE CATGUT SNARES , DIFFERENT SOUNDING VOICE OF THIS BELL BRASS SNARE DRUM , MAN OH MAN , IT SOUNDS SO COOL , THIS SNARE DRUM COMMANDS ATTENTION! This is a great-playing example of a vintage Conn New Wonder II Chu alto saxophone manufactured in the 1929, #M229XXX. This sax has it’s original silver-plate finish. His sax is in used condition with normal wear and scratching from many years of playing, and everything works great, and it is set up to good playing adjustment on pads around midlife.
