Bach Stradivarius Bass Trombone

This Bach model 50B was used for over 30 years in the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. It was the bass trombonists primary instrument. It is a Corporation era horn made in the early 70s. It has the wear to prove it. It was relacquered toward the end of his career. Buffing was done so as not to thin the metal too much and maintain the integrity of the horn. The chrome plating on the inside tubes is thin. Not terrible, but would benefit from new tubes. This 50B features the 9.5 yellow brass bell with traditional wrap and standard weight brass slide. Trigger linkage was converted to ball and socket and operates smoothly. The bell is detachable so you can use different bells. The horn plays well as you would expect a Bach of this vintage to play. Its actually very open in the valve register. It would be the perfect candidate to build your dream bass trombone or play as a classic single valve horn. It is not perfect for sure but it still has lots of life left in it. It has the original coffin style Bach case which is in great condition because it wasnt used much. If you are outside the U. This is a beautiful instrument in excellent condition. The Kanstul 1180 is a heralding bass trumpet in the key of G. The horn plays and sounds great. It uses a large shank trombone mouth piece (not included). I can find only 4 small dings. Silver plate is like new. Case in very good shape it is labeled as a Besson but the horn fits very nicely. King Super 20 S2 Model (large bore) 1048 Bb Trumpet with Case and Bach 5C MP

Please find an excellent condition vintage large bore baked on clear epoxy lacquered professional King Super 20 (S2) model #1048 Bb trumpet with original King case and excellent condition silver plated vintage Bach 5C mouthpiece. The bore size measured on the 2nd valve slide measures. 458(King’s large bore). The bell diameter measures 4.75. I added a Bach Strad 1st valve thumb saddle to allow additional intonation adjustment. All old lacquer was removed. What few small dings the horn had were gently removed. The instrument has been chem cleaned and thoroughly cleaned inside and out. The horn was then re-lacquered utilizing a baked on epoxy lacquer. The satin to glossy finish is not perfect but close. Some slight signs of last step buffing swirls somewhat noticeable here and there please see pictures. The pictures of the instrument taken apart are pre re-lacquering shotsno cork in waterkeys etc. This horn has that big volume of sound characteristic with the large bore instruments. The horn was ultrasonically cleaned as well. All new valve stem corks and felts. The 1st valve thumb saddle and the 3rd valve finger ring adjustment move freely without drag. Excellent valve speed and compression. The vintage King case is in average condition for its age. The latches do not spring open but close and secure the instument nicely. It has been sanitized with a hospital grade disinfectant. There are no keys available for the case. It will be clean, shiny, sanitized, valves oiled, slides lubricated and ready to play right out of the box. Feel free to ask questions.
