Here’s a MINT Bach Stradivarius Model LR190S43B Bronze Bell Profesisonal Trumpet in silver plate. This is a major design innovation by Bach – the bronze bell of this horn warms and intensifies the sound of this instrument, making it a very efficient horn, but the 43 bell also makes it an extremely responsive instrument. The result is a great sounding horn that is ideal for technical playing but equally at home playing ballads or symphony work. This instrument has been well taken care of. The finish is beautiful with only minor scratches. There is one small ding in the bell, but overall in great condition. The tuning slide and the 3rd valve slide seem to be stuck and need slide grease. Feel free to ask questions. (Edit) The serial number is 529503. There is a 3 at the end of the serial number. This is a MINT Bach Stradivarius Artisan AP190 Professional piccolo trumpet. Each Artisan trumpet is made with a one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass bell with a flat rim and special acoustic treatment in both material and manufacturing process resulting in a beautiful Bach Stradivarius sound with a larger core and a broader range of color. The two-piece valve construction with nickel balusters and brass casings harkens back to the construction techniques used by Vincent Bach when making classic Bach trumpets in New York City and Mount Vernon. Monel pistons along with two sets of brass and plastic valve guides offer the player a choice in response and feel. This instrument has had very little playing time and is in perfect condition. This is a vintage Leblanc Paris D trumpet in original condition. No modifications or customizations. Came with 2nd valve slide trigger and third valve slide ring on bottom. Surprisingly consistent tuning and even tone throughout all registers. Bell marked with G. Second valve slide marked with “Made in France”. Original case in good shape. Horn shows normal wear for an instrument of its age. No major dings or dents. Only defect I can see is where bell meets regular trumpet. Looks like joint is not perfect. This does not affect playability and obviously it came this way from the factory. Interesting find and a great playable piece of history. Comes with case no mouthpiece.
