Just got this horn back from Lawler on 10/15. Brand new brushed/matte/satin (whatever you like to call it, lol) lacquer finish (it was raw brass before, so there was no finish to strip). This horn was built in 2000 and has a number 2 leadpipe and the 26 bell. Kanstul valves still have good compression, and Roy reports that they have a lot of life left in them. I had saturn water keys installed prior to the new finish. As you know, they don’t make these any more.
