Here’s another pre-owned Bach Stradivarius 37 ML in silver for sale here at ACB. This trumpet has some heavy signs of use so we’re listing it at a very affordable price! There was some repair work done on the bell prior to our acquisition of the trumpet, you can see that the bell has been re-soldered. Based on signs of repair, this was probably to repair dents in the back bell bow and some damage near the front brace. The leadpipe has also been previously removed, and there are signs of repair work on the tuning slide brace as well. The pinky hook has also been replaced and sits at a slight angle. The silver plating shows significant wear throughout the instrument except on the third valve water slide, which is brand new! The compression is quite poor, another factor in the greatly reduced price. The first valve slide is a little stiff, but other than that all the slides and valves move freely. We replaced the third valve water slide, it’s a very snug fit now. The leadpipe is showing some early signs of redrot but we tested the compression and there are no leaks in the leadpipe or tuning slide.
