This is a great-playing example of a desirable vintage Conn New Wonder II Chu Berry tenor saxophone manufactured in 1928, #M209XXX. His sax is in well-worn used condition with plenty of wear and scratching from many years of playing, the vintage laquer is worn to nearly bare brass, but everything works great, and it is set up to good playing adjustment on pads around midlife or older, with necessary recent replacements. 1949 King Super 20 Tenor Saxophone Sterling Silver Neck Full Pearls Rare

White King Super 20 tenor saxophone. All keys move freely and the pads/corks are in good condition. This tenor saxophone has full pearls, a double socket sterling silver neck and has visible bell/bell key engraving. There are no major dents present and several minor dings don’t affect performance. This tenor sax has scratches throughout from normal use and almost all of the lacquer is missing. The matching neck/body serial number is in the low 298, xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1949. Several key guards show signs of having been re-soldered, one of the clothes guard screws is missing and a minor crack is present in the outer neck socket(at the neck screw tightening slot).
