1964 Gold Medal Tenor Saxophone Mk. 1 W/rolled Tone Holes – Excellent. This sax is a Mach 1 Gold Medal edition Strasser Marigaux Lemaire (SML)… Has been recently serviced and is sealing beautifully. This is a relacquered saxophone and had also been overhauled a number of years ago – pads are in very good condition. For those who are not familiar with SML saxophones, I would highly recommend reading up on them as they are one of the best French-made saxophones ever. There are some scratches and a couple of minor dimples… It is a used saxophone. Note – you will see lacquer missing on the lower stack back side where one of the posts had to be shifted as swedging was not an option and there was too much play. This has been minimized by relocating the post. Nothing is bent and everything is fully functional. Tags: sax, saxophone, saxaphone, alternative to selmer, conn, yanagisawa, Yamaha. The item “S. M.
