This is a great playing example of a legendary vintage Buescher True Tone Aristocrat alto saxophone #336XXX with a very worn vintage laquer finish. It is either late Big B or a very early example of the successor to the Big B-engraved Bueschers, I cannot read the engraving, but I have owned this for awhile because it plays like a great Big B. Manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana USA in 1951 during the absolute peak period of quality. It has gold Norton springs and Snap-In-Pads, mostly midlife with replacements where necessary, and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. Speckling, scratches for it’s age with a number of dents and signs of repairs, please study the photos carefully. This sax has an exceptional full vintage sound with strong presence. Comes without a case but this.
