This vintage CONN 6H features an 8 Bell in yellow brass with nickel-silver accents. 500 bore, chrome plated nickel-silver inner slide/yellow brass outer slide with nickel-silver accents. Manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana in 1964. There are signs of use, such as many scratches, small dents, dings, lacquer deterioration, and plating loss as seen in the pictures. There are signs of previous dent removal on the bell and tuning slide, which moves freely. The handslide is fast, 8-9/10 with no hang-ups. The outer slide tubes have been flex-honed, any dings neutralized, and the slide aligned. There is plating loss on the handslide grip and several small plating chips on the upper and lower edges of both inner tube stockings, but this does not interfere with slide action. New felts were installed in the handslide grip barrels. The horn is clean and ready to play; Just add slide lube. The trombone comes with a serviceable King coffin case which is in good condition. I have been a player, repair tech, and collector for many years, but now find that its become more of a burden than a joy to keep and maintain so many trombones. Over the next several months, I will be thinning out my collection. The item “VINTAGE CONN 6H ARTIST SYMPHONY PROFESSIONAL TROMBONE ELKHART 1964″ is in sale since Friday, March 20, 2020.
