Schilke B6 Professional Trumpet. Condition is Used Very good. 2002Schilke B6 Bb trumpet – Superb players horn! The B6 is a mediumto medium large step-bore with a medium large bell similar to the yamaha shew 8310Z. The B6 is widely usedby commercial artists and other professionals -Bill Chase etc. The plating is in great condition with only minor signs of wear to the silverplating on the valve casing (prior wear spots were spot plated by charlie melk). Leadpipe is clean and clear and all slidesare smooth and valve action and compression is excellent. There are a few abrasions on the horn and a few scratches in the receiver, and 1 tiny ding shown in pic on end of 3rd valve slide -but from 2 feet it looks great and you will be proud to uncase it! Very clean inside and out. Leaderpipe is clean and smooth inside. This trumpet has had additional professional valve alignment done with the addition of lightweight valve finger buttons. Frankly, this trumpet has some of the best valves I have ever played on! Smooth and crisp and fast without bounce! One of the best Schilke trumpets I have ever played on and I never thought I would have to sell it… I literally went through 12 professional trumpets over 14 mounths ask my wife! And ended up with this horn as the winner – I have been playing this for the last year with a big band… My loss is your gain! I even bought a brand new schilke B6 2019 – and it did not play as well as this horn! Professionally packed and insured.
