This is a major design innovation by Bach – the bronze bell of this horn warms and intensifies the sound of this instrument, making it a very efficient horn, but the 43 bell also makes it an extremely responsive instrument. The result is a great sounding horn that is ideal for technical playing but equally at home playing ballads or symphony work.
