Very nice, huge playing, original lacquer Buescher 400 “Top Hat & Cane” Alto Saxophone with nice, sharp engraving on offer. Please note the “obscured” number (SN:333885-probably). The engraving, raised “Buescher” logo and silver tone ring are all in excellent condition. I do not see any obvious evidence of re-soldered post/keywork or toneholes. There are no major dings or dents to speak of on the neck or body of the saxophone. The original lacquer is in ok condition with about 65% overall remaining coverage on the body and maybe 30% on the neck. The horn plays from top to bottom with good action on older pads but could use an adjustment and cleaning. Please budget for tuning to individual taste.
