This is a great-playing example of a vintage Conn 6m transitional alto saxophone manufactured in 1932, #351XXX, at the absolute peak of American saxophone craftsmanship and quality. Rolled toneholes and naked lady engraving. His sax has a recent set of metal dome resonator pads and it is set up to good playing adjustment. Normal wear for a sax of it’s vintage with some scratches and a few small dents and wear mainly on the neck and some wear on the touch points as seen in the photos on it’s original silver-plated finish. Poor-looking but solid solder repair on low D# guard as seen in photos 8 and 9, no effect on the great sound quality of this sax. Very free-blowing with lots of edge and vintage character.
