This Bach Strad Model 72L had the lead pipe changed, don’t know the size. It was used in the 70’s and was overhauled around 1995. Trumpet is in very clean condition, beautiful silver finish. Valves work great and 1st/3rd Valve slides move. Main tuning slide frozen from lack of use past five years. Minor wear around valve casing. Difficult to part with, was my college trumpet. Will be packaged by UPS and fully insured. Thanks for taking a look, let me know if you have any questions. Plays great, just some very minor wear as mentioned. I dont know a ton about instruments. I had my daughter take this to her band teacher and he said it is playable. Im sure it will at least need routine care. This is a MINT Bach Stradivarius 190S43 Anniversary Model 43 professional trumpet. When you think of trumpets, you think Bach. The 50th anniversary model celebrates the 50th anniversary of the move of the Bach factory to Elkhart. These trumpets are constructed using the original design of these so-called’Early Elkhart’ trumpets including dual-metal valve casings and the original bell design. The result is a great playing instrument that is exceptionally vibrant and responsive. The incredible success of the 190S37 has prompted Bach to expand their line of instruments made in this style to their very popular 43 bell, creating what a local player described as the best Bach he’d ever played. This particular trumpet is in mint condition. It was a short term rental to a professional performing ensemble and is perfect except for some fingerprints.
