1949 Buescher Aristocrat “Big B” Series II model 140 alto saxophone. Great condition with no dents, replaced pads, good action and new cork on the neck. Only two owners, me and my grandfather. Well cared for (I was a rental shop repair tech). This is the pinnacle of the Buescher line, the Big B. Comparing to the benchmark of a Selmer Mark VI, this model Aristocrat is described to have. A more spread and’open’ sound. The tone is darker, more earthy, with less projection. Comes with Neotech strap, mouthpiece, new reeds, reed protectors, cleaning rod, and SKB hard case.
