This is a rare and desirable example of an original silver-plated vintage Conn New Wonder I pre Chu Berry curved soprano saxophone manufactured in 1922, #64XXX. His sax is in well-worn used condition with plenty of wear and scratching from many years of playing, but everything works great, and it is set up to good playing adjustment on mostly older pads, with necessary recent replacements. Photos #5 and 6 show the neck was resoldered, no effect on the great sound of this sax. This sax has plenty of projection and vintage edge. This is a great playing vintage example of a Yamaha YBS 61 baritone saxophone #25XX with low A manufactured in Japan in the 1970’s. Pads are somewhat older than midlife but still flexible and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. Plenty of wear, small dents and scratching on it’s vintage laquer finish as can be seen in the photos. This sax blows easily with solid edge and vintage character. Last photo shows resoldered bell-to-body brace, which is a solid repair. The instrument is in overall good condition, with tarnish, plating wear, and small dings and scratches throughout. It also have, what i think, patches. See pic nr 3. Up for sale is a Bundy 1 tenor sax serial number 681xxx this plays great has a huge dark sound that as far as volume blew away my King Silversonic tenor. It has a ding under the neck a very small one on the left side of the bell not very noticeable also has a small dent on the left side of the bell not very bad can easily be fixed and doesn’t effect the sound other than that its a beautiful example of a bundy one tenor!
