SELMER (PARIS) SUPER ACTION 80 SERIES II. Selmer (Paris) Super Action 80 Series II #578143 was manufactured in the mid-1990’s. These horns offer good value: a professional Selmer tenor saxophone at a fraction of the cost of a Mark VI or a Super Balanced Action. This one is in very good condition, with only a few small cosmetic flaws that we tried to show in the photos (more photos available on request). The original lacquer is about 90% intact, except that the lacquer inside the bell appears to have been removed (some players feel this darkens the sound). Pads, corks, felts and springs are all in like-new condition. The sound is enormous, yet easily controlled. Comes in its original Selmer case with case cover.
