PRESERVING AMERICAN MUSIC HISTORY ONE INSTRUMENT AT A TIME. (3 valves plus 4th to change bells). Made in Elkhart, Indiana. With original factory silver plate finish. INCLUDES A SMALL SHANK MOUTHPIECE AND CASE. A RARE COLLECTOR’S INSTRUMENT. FULLY RESTORED IN EXCELLENT PLAYING CONDITION. This is not your typical used instrument. It has been taken apart, dents removed, needed repairs made, carefully reassembled and carefully polished. We saved the original silver plate finish so there will be some scratches and minor signs of use. It looks and plays great! The restoration was done by a respected local shop with over 40 years experience in woodwind and brass instrument restorations and repairs. Some of their employees worked at the H. White and King factories in Cleveland and Eastlake, Ohio. (the new Conn trombones are made in the Eastlake King factory). I have personally used this company for over 10 years for my band members and myself. I had this shop overhaul and silver plate my baby a 1971 Besson euphonium and for me thats like trusting someone to operate on your kid. Ive had the horn longer than my kids! It really looks great and actually plays better than when I bought it new in college. This item is guaranteed to be as described. I take great care to make sure you are receiving a good quality instrument and to describe it accurately. The pictures tell the story. I personally play everything I sell, so theres nothing to worry about. Im a band director and professional musician playing tuba to trumpet and everything in between. If I wouldnt have it in my house, I wont send it to yours! Ive just collected too many instruments and other “horn stuff”, between the community band that I direct plus 3 others I play in yes, Im a little crazy! And 2 kids that played in band in school.
