Legends Brass SH 1. The SH 1 has a soft, round, comfortable rim. The cup is shallow (similar to Bach E). There is a high alpha angle for a more gentle slope into the cup. The entrance to the throat is rounded to allow good air flow for a nice big sound. Slotting and intonation are excellent with the SH 1. It is a versatile piece, good for everything from concert legit to screaming lead. Customers that have played the SH 1 have described it a feeling. Similar to a Marcinkiewicz E14. It is not a copy of this piece, but has a similar rim and cup. The SH 1 has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), throat cylinder length, and Legends S backbore. These elements maximize endurance, range and sound for the player. Legends SH 1 Specs. Outside Rim Diameter: 1.057 (26.847 mm). Outside Rim Contour: Round. 662 (16.815 mm). Inside Rim Contour: Round. Comparable to Bach E. This mouthpiece is kept in stock in three blanks: lightweight, standard weight, and heavyweight. The lightweight blank adds extra sizzle for more of a lead, or’Las Vegas’ sound. 1930’s Leedy Broadway Standard snare drum. Shell is a one piece heavy brass shell with soldered bearing edges. This was made in the Conn era when they owned both Ludwig and Leedy and this shell was used for both companies. Shell is in round and tunes up easily and plays great. Throw off works great and arm moves up and down freely. Top hoop is stamped Leedy Elkhart Ind. Plating has some scratches and wear. Shells has a few small dings, nothing major. Harrelson Summit Professional Trumpet. This professional handmade trumpet has a brilliant warm rich sound with a centered thick tone. The valves feel very nice, quick and smooth. This is a trumpet any professional should really enjoy. The trumpet is in raw brass and has a vintage look about it. This Summit has Jasons number 2 leadpipe and 1 bell configuration. There are no large dents however a swallow indentation on the bell which is hard to capture in a photo. Overall very nice condition, Included is an extra set of weighted bottom caps, several of the VGR gaps to change the gap for a multitude of mouthpieces and a very nice used professional case. Vintage Ludwig & Ludwig 5 x 14 Black Enamel (has been refinished) over Brass Snare Drum, 2 Piece Shell with 8 COB Tube Lugs, COB Single Flange Rims, Pioneer Strainer, and Radio King dual tone control that was added at some point. With the exception of the tone control and Puresound snare wires everything appears to be original to the drum. This is NOT a 1920s Black Beauty but is the same 2 piece heavy brass shell that was originally black enamel (paint) finish from the factory, the previous owner said he had it repainted. I dont know what the official model name of this drum is. This is a players drum that has the unmistakable sound that only these shells have, and this is the more desirable 8 lug model. All chrome fittings that are in good condition and everything works like it should. There are two extra holes that look like they were filled with solder shown in the last pic.
