King Trombone with its solid sterling silver bell section is one of the best looking Trombones every made. Killer engraving make this Trombone a true show stopper. This trombone fits dimensionally what later became the 2B. This Trombone does not have a bell lock, please keep this in mind. This Trombone has not been restored. The body of the Trombone is in great shape and has some very small scratches. No deep scratches, and there are some very small dings that would not show up in the pictures. All sections are stamped with the appropriately matched serial numbers. The slide is smooth and fast in all positions and an ease to play. The slide has been serviced by The Slide Doctor and is in ready to play condition. The slide operates smoothly, we rate it an eight out of ten. This slide is a vintage slide and not as nice as later King trombones. The finish is original gold plate, 95% perfect. The engraving is crisp and clear. There is no lacquer on the bell. Gold wash in the bell is original (85% perfect). The slide is original, both inner and outer tubes. The inner slide looks almost new and has very little wear. The slide is vintage but is an eight out of ten when compared to todays slides. Comes with original lyr. Comes with gold pated HN White #28 mouthpiece. Comes with HN White made case and new MTS case. This case is original to the Trombone and is in poor condition. The exterior of the case is in less than condition. The interior of the case is in worse condition than the exterior. Someone may want to restore the case that is why we are including it. This Trombone is a true super star now looking for a new home.
