This is a great bass bone. And from what Ive found its a rare model. I could only find one other listing in my research, other than that its nonexistent on the internet. The bell was replaced before I got the bass bone, which youll be able to see where the new bell was reattached to the body of the instrument in the photos where I circled and captioned it. The bell is a rose Gold color while the rest of the trombone is a yellowish brass which creates a cool contrast. It comes with two slides, both have red spots on them, one more than the other. But this can of course be fixed in the future if you have a shop service it. Lastly It comes with a hard case and a mouth piece. All of this will be sanitized and cleaned for your safety. Elkhart Conn 72H single valve Bass trombone. The trombone is in excellent condition. There was a small patch on the main tuning slide, but was well performed and not very noticeable. The lacquer is in excellent shape, the bell etching is very visible. There is NO acid erosion on the outer slide where it is handled. There is no wear on the inner stockings and slide action is very good. The valve operates very well. THe 72H was a popular model but was only produced from 1955 to 68.
