Rebuilt Conn 3 Valve Short Action BBb Sousaphone

I took on the sousaphone as a fun test of my shop abilities, and had to make special tools to take out the nasty dents. There was a great deal of unfolding, serious dent work and re-alignment during the rebuild. Most of the pieces were disassembled and reworked independently. The valve block has new bracing to the body and is now much stronger than the original design. I realigned all of the slides and put the pieces back into round for smooth opperation. Horn was initially chemically cleaned and later flushed several times although there still may be some residue left from the rebuild. All failing solder joints are repaired and the braces are now in good solid condition. I heavily polished, buffed, and burnished the horn but there is still always room for a little more elbow grease. There are small dings and surface scratches remaining but all the major dents are removed and smoothed out. I worked dents from all of the connective tubing between the valves. The bell was brought back into round and is fairly smooth with a solid bell wire. Most of the original lacquer failed and is now removed. Please allow extra time for proper packing and delivering to the appropriate carrier as this will come in large box. This is a heavy, oversize instrument.
