Conn 38B Elkhart “Connstellation” Bb trumpet. All valves and slides move freely and the valve compression is good. There are no major dents present and several minor dings don’t affect performance. The bell diameter is 5 1/8 inch and the bore is. This trumpet has scratches and minor wear throughout from normal use. This is the famous 38B Connstellation. It is in great condition. All of the slides move freely and the three piston valves are all fast and smooth. It was just inspected by a pro technician. It is found to be 100% working & playing well without any issues. The horn comes in very nice original case. There are very minor scratches/marks/blemish that are hard to find. For consideration is a vintage Conn 48H “Connstellation” trombone. The serial number, 960429, dates it to 1962. It has cosmetic wear including scratching and scuffs in the plating and a few dent scars in the bell bow. The slide is smooth / aligned and doesn’t catch, but does have some plating loss, as pictured, on the stocking. The engraving is crisp. Conn Connstellation 28-B Professional Bb Trumpet; American made by C. In Elkhart, Indiana; Ca 1952, serial # 410129. The Connstellation weighs in at 2 lbs. & has a 5d. 459 measured inside the second valve slide itself. Mouthpiece receiver marked Connstellation & 28-B. The 28-B is equipped with a 1st. Valve slide trigger, 3rd. Valve slide adjustable push ring & a pair of lever type water keys. Pistons are outstanding and providing superb compression. New felts, corks, top cap bumpers, springs and water seals. Included with the 28-B is a new Wolf Pack, valve oil, white gloves and several mouthpieces.. Engrave down threw the side of the horn makes this one of a kind. This Constellation 28-B is in Fair condition. Newly silver plated over-all, ultrasonic clean Connstellation ready for any Venue you desire. This trumpet design is especially preferable for lead play, drizzle to sizzle capable.
